Avenel, NJ (March 12, 2019) Industry veteran and technology expert, Chris Alfano has been promoted from his post as Director of Information Technology to Chief Technology Officer at Vantage Apparel. This promotion continues Vantage’s focus on being the industry’s branded apparel leader in automation, integration and world-class customer experiences.
For the last 7 years at Vantage, Alfano has been no stranger to achievements. He created and deployed Vantage’s virtual server platform which provided cloud access to all Vantage software services. He not only managed the implementation of PromoStandards, but also created a developer suite that allows customers to integrate with the company’s production software through numerous APIs. Additionally, he lead the implementation direction for Vantage’s new ERP system which improved order-to-production efficiencies by nearly 30%.

In addition to championing Vantage’s focus to bring innovative solutions to the branded apparel marketplace, Alfano will also lead the technology strategy for each of Vantage’s three production facilities in North America; Avenel, NJ, St. Louis, MO and the newly enhanced Santa Ana, CA location.

Alfano is based out of Vantage’s New Jersey headquarters office and its largest production facility located in Avenel, New Jersey. He began his new role as CTO on Monday, March 11, 2019.
