Gemline Announces Expansion into the Specialty Foods Category Effective March 2018
Lawrence, MA  –Gemline, a leading supplier of promotional bags, business accessories, drinkware, gifts and writing instruments, today announced its expansion into the specialty foods category under the brand name, Gourmet Expressions. Gemline will offer a broad range of quality gourmet gifts bundled with a curated assortment of their most popular totes, coolers and drinkware as well as a premier collection of gourmet food gift towers and baskets. This new food gifting division will offer customers one-stop shopping convenience with everything they need for year-round gifting and branded marketing solutions.
Gourmet Expressions, will make its debut at the PPAI Show from January 16th -18th with an introductory collection launching March of 2018. Gemline is currently in the process of building out a HACCP Certified fulfillment center within their plant in Lawrence, MA.
Sheila Shechtman will oversee Gourmet Expressions as Vice President of Specialty Foods at Gemline.  Shechtman, a 36-year veteran of the food gifting industry, has developed gifts for large retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales as well as online offerings for 1800flowers.com and ftd.com. Shechtman most recently held the title of CEO at Gifted Expressions, a supplier to the promotional products industry.
