To Our Valued Distributors,
Due to the extreme weather expected from the landfall of Hurricane Irma this weekend, freight carriers have already suspended pickups and deliveries after 5pm today and the Bullet facility near Miami, FL will be closing at noon on Friday, September 8. We have been working diligently this week to minimize the impact of the impending storm on our service and processing of your orders, while at the same time accommodating the needs of our employees as they purchase supplies, prepare their homes for the storm, and in some cases evacuate their homes altogether. The storm’s forces are expected to impact our immediate area through the beginning of next week, so Bullet will remain closed through Monday, September 11.
It is our hope is that the area will be safe and that transportation services will be operational, allowing us to re-open on Tuesday, September 12. However, safety is our number one priority and we will resume operations as soon as the storm has passed and it is safe to return. Ongoing updates on the operations of the Bullet facility will be shared on our website at www.pcna.com/bullet.
This storm has no impact on the other PCNA lines of business, and Leed’s, Trimark and JournalBooks continue to operate uninterrupted.
We are very appreciative of the support that our customer base has shown this week as we prepare for Irma’s arrival. We are eager to return next week to fulfill your orders.
Thank you,
The PCNA and Bullet Teams
