March 18, 2020 – St. Paul, Minn. – – Chuck Dahlgren, president of Crystal D, has released the following statement regarding operations at Crystal D during the coronavirus pandemic:

As many organizations in our industry are doing, we are taking measures at Crystal D to keep our employees safe and healthy and ensuring our organization stays safe and prosperous.

As we are all trying to digest and make sense of what is happening in America right now, I feel the best way to support our customers is to provide important information in a timely manner.

We want our customers to feel secure, knowing they will be able to connect with our Memory Makers during normal business hours. We are operating as usual with no disruption. Unless mandated by the government to close, we will remain open and processing orders as scheduled.

Orders will ship on time, as our stock levels remain high. Our customers can easily access their order information through our Order Tracker system on our website. This is available 24/7, as it always has been.

Internally, we are taking extra precautions to keep our Memory Makers safe and healthy, and our team is remaining optimistic.

Around the building, we have vitamin stations. We are providing employees with vitamins to help boost their immune systems. At these stations, we also have green tea and echinacea tea that help boost the immune system, and we have provided our employees with additional information regarding foods and vitamins that will help keep us healthy.

We have also implemented additional daily cleaning procedures. Each Memory Maker is disinfecting their own work station, and we have an internal team that is cleaning common areas to reduce the risk of spreading germs.

We have limited access to our building. Our employees are the only people allowed in our building until further notice. We are working with our delivery drivers and mail carriers to ensure all deliveries and shipments will continue as scheduled.

We are also practicing as much social distancing as possible. Many of our Memory Makers have already started working from home. If any of our employees are showing symptoms of COVID-19, the flu, or even the common cold, we are asking them to stay home.

We are in a very disruptive time, but it’s no one’s fault. We need to address the situation head on and, most importantly, together. My goal is to protect our employees first as much as possible and to keep Crystal D running with minimal disruption.

Crystal D is also emphasizing drop shipments for canceled events. Customers can reach out to their solutions specialists to learn more about the process to ensure their clients will still be able to get the awards they ordered to the recipients who have earned them. Additionally, the company is offering free insertion services for these drop shipments.
